On-Site Service
At Murphy Lighting Systems we understand that people depend on you and that any failure is critical. Our service department is the best in the industry because of our factory-trained technicians, our large stock of spare parts, and our full test facility!
System Retrofits
Your system may not have to be replaced just because it is old. We can often upgrade the control electronics in the dimmer rack and simply change power module types to accommodate new technology like LED lighting. This saves thousands of dollars and eliminates downtime!
Repairs
We service the equipment from all the major manufacturers in the industry. Our bench technicians are trained to repair fixtures, dimmers and relays, power distribution and other items. We can also schedule a site visit to evaluate any issues with your system.

Murphy Lighting Systems has been providing performance lighting, dimming, control, and rigging equipment to the television, theatre, and motion picture industries, as well as churches, theme parks, cruise lines, and schools for more than 40 years. MLS has been owned by the same family since 1979 – a rarity in the entertainment industry. Our goal is to provide the best solutions and highest level of service and support while offering genuine concern for our customers.
We also supply and service architectural dimming and control systems for convention centers, ballrooms, restaurants and other places of assembly.
No matter how complex a project is or how tight the timeframe, MLS provides the highest quality installations – on time and within budget!
