Jesse Hanson
Senior Repair/Install Technician
Jesse joined Murphy Lighting Systems in 2022 and serves as a Senior Repair and Install Technician, specializing in bench repairs and fixture installations. With a background in film, video, and broadcast lighting, he brings both technical precision and creative insight to every project he works on. His hands-on experience ensures that lighting systems are not only functional but fine-tuned to the highest standards.
He holds a degree in Film and Video Production from Full Sail University and several technical certifications, including Varilite Fixture Certification, ETC Termination Technician, and Netgear Certified status. Jesse takes pride in sharing his skills and experiences with newer team members, helping them grow and maintain the exceptional standards that define MLS. He’s especially proud of his commitment to being the “Gold Standard” of lighting in Central Florida and beyond—a reputation built on excellence, reliability, and passion for the craft.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys supporting his kids at their sporting events, concerts, and plays. He and his wife love exploring new cities—Boston being a favorite—and escaping to the outdoors to hike the Appalachian trails whenever they can.
