Karlean Weber

Karlean joined Murphy Lighting Systems in 2015 and serves as the Director of Purchasing and Administration. In her role, she develops and implements procurement strategies, oversees purchasing operations, and manages supplier relationships to ensure the best balance of cost, quality, and delivery for every project. Her leadership and big-picture perspective help keep MLS projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Before joining the company, Karlean spent 20 years touring the world in live entertainment, working as a Production Manager, Tour Manager, Stage Manager, and Performer. That hands-on industry experience, combined with a Bachelor of Science degree in Show Production, gives her a unique understanding of both the technical and creative sides of lighting and production. She’s known for her strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving, and her ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers and vendors alike.

Outside of work, Karlean enjoys listening to live music, riding motorcycles, relaxing on the beach, and traveling to new destinations. And if you ask her what she’s ultimately striving for—she’ll tell you with a smile: world peace.
