Lauren Wiley

Lauren joined Murphy Lighting Systems in 2023 and quickly became known for her attention to detail and versatility. She handles a little bit of everything, but much of her work focuses on project documentation and creating technical drawings that bring lighting designs to life.

Lauren has been passionate about lighting since she was 14, when she began working in her school’s theater program on a 1988 Strand Lighting MX console. That early spark led her to pursue a career in show production, gaining hands-on experience throughout college and beyond. She holds an Associate’s degree in American Sign Language and a Bachelor’s degree in Show Production, and she is also Vectorworks Certified, OSHA 10 Certified, and forklift certified. Among her proudest accomplishments is her work on theme park projects—a lifelong dream realized.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys reading and crafting, and when she’s not doing that, you’ll likely find her exploring state and national parks.
