Nikki Rock
Project Manager
Nikki has been part of the Murphy Lighting Systems team since 2013, returning in 2018 after a few years away. As a Project Manager, she oversees bid preparation, deliverables, procurement, vendor and client coordination, and project closeouts. Most recently, she’s also taken on the exciting challenge of helping relaunch the company’s social media presence, bringing her creativity and design background into a new arena.
Â
Before joining MLS, Nikki built a well-rounded career in sales, customer service, and administration, as well as working as a paralegal’s assistant. She also designed for a boutique golf clothing company, where she developed her keen eye for detail and love of design. Her studies in Graphic Design at the International Academy of Design and Technology helped further refine her creative and technical skills. Nikki’s favorite part of her work is seeing a project evolve—from early blue-sky ideas and renderings to fully realized immersive environments. She especially enjoys collaborating on custom themed light fixtures, transforming client sketches into tangible, one-of-a-kind creations.

Among her proudest accomplishments are major contributions to the lighting for Isle of Berk and Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic at Universal’s Epic Universe, as well as Super Nintendo Land in Universal Studios Japan. Outside of work, Nikki loves spending time with her husband and three kids, especially when they’re out boating, camping, or exploring the outdoors. She’s also passionate about creating—whether it’s painting or crafting unique pieces with her laser engraver.
